March 17, 2014 - Creative Technology Ltd. announced that its subsidiary ZiiLabs Inc., Ltd. filed suit against Apple and Samsung on March 10 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
ZiiLabs, formerly known as 3DLabs Inc., Ltd., alleges that certain Samsung and Apple products infringe ten of its patents related to graphics, processors and 3D technologies. The allegedly infringing devices include various Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets, Samsung laptops, and certain ranges of Apple's iPhone, iPad, iMac and MacBook Pro.
